Sr License Compliance Analyst

Overview The Role is a key contributor to AspenTech’s License Compliance team, focusing on worldwide enforcement and monetarization of non-genuine and non-compliant use of AspenTech software. The role works directly with the global sales team across all vertical markets to generate revenue by engaging with high quality noncompliant accounts and bringing compliance issues to a successful resolution. This is a quota-carrying role with responsibility for an assigned territory and requires a self-motivated individual with a track record of over-achievement. A successful candidate will need to think creatively, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform a broad range of activities to support AspenTech’s License Compliance Program Execute territory plan to maximize revenue Consistently attain and exceed individual quota Monitor the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for accurately maintaining CRM data; accurately forecast compliance opportunities in CRM Handle high pressure situations and discussions to drive successful resolution to compliance issues; highly involved in customer negotiations Apply critical thinking to AspenTech’s licensing rules and explain any non-compliant issues Handle multiple compliance engagements simultaneously Identify compliance issues based on applicable agreements and partner with the Sales Team to identify resolutions for identified compliance violations Engage with customers and non-customers to participate in AspenTech’s License Compliance Process to develop a pipeline of compliance opportunities Develop relationships with customers and non-customers Follow up and resolve non-compliance issues Grow the AspenTech footprint within existing non-compliant accounts Work cross-functionally with global sales teams, legal, operations, finance, contracts, and R&D Interpret contractual terms of software licenses and service agreements to assess customer compliance Perform analysis on customer data, create reports of findings, and manage the resolution and closure process Review and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations Support preparation for Quarterly Business Performance review reporting of key metrics related to License Compliance activities and revenue generation Support the distribution of compliance reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization Train and support the global sales organization on License Compliance best practices and processes to resolve unbudgeted compliance issues Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in an Operations or Software Compliance role, with at least a basic understanding of Software Asset Management and/or License Compliance Experience with Salesforce (CRM) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Position requires supporting business operations in APJ as well as China and fluency in Mandarin Knowledge of Software Asset Management Deployment Tools (e.g., Microsoft SCCM) is desirable Experience in completing software license audit engagements Experience with IP enforcement and/or legal knowledge Organized and adaptable business professional with a drive for success Excellent written and oral communication skills Bachelor's degree required Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Legal Industries: Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
