Job Description
Provide hands-on support for plant deployment, design and oversee system production and installation, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and troubleshoot mechanical issues during setup
Collaborate to define project scope, develop schedules, budgets, manage risks, and design mechanical systems or components as needed
Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports for stakeholders, ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and properly archived, and work on the financial model based on system operational metrics
Provide technical guidance, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, review design documents, and conduct mechanical calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
Carry out 3D modelling and design drawings to meet process, application and safety requirements of Flex-Pyrolysis System
Study, analyse and provide solutions to existing system or new development enabling optimal performance with DFM, DFA and cost reduction
Generate step files and update all engineering drawings for fabrication based on design requirements including BOM and layout
Source suitable equipment derived from P&ID such as pumps, motors, mechanisms, valves, sensors and devices to meet full function of the system
Support as quality inspector for all receipts of purchases and documentation ensuring compliance to specifications, form, fit & function and resolve quality issues for timely replacements
Responsible for all CAD drawings and design documentation with up-to-date records and proper upkeep with accuracy and security of information
Support the physical installation, assembly and troubleshooting of the system when required
Complete tasks within the specified timeframe
Participate in R&D efforts
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
Proven 4 to 6 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role
Strong understanding of mechanical system design, installation, and maintenance
Experience with deploying and setting up plant equipment and mechanical systems
Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
Knowledge of relevant mechanical engineering codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
