Biotechnologist 2 and 3 (Cell and Gene Therapy) – Lonza Singapore, Tuas Singapore. Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, working across five continents. We are looking for seasoned Biotechnologists to join Lonza Cell & Gene Therapy in Tuas, Singapore, to contribute to the production of cell and gene therapies under cGMP conditions. The full list of our global benefits can be also found on What You'll Do Attains a thorough understanding of the principles of cGMP compliance, aseptic techniques and clean room practices. Executes batch records, ensuring right-first-time documentation. Maintains training status to perform required GMP tasks. Performs environmental monitoring during production. Performs suite support activities such as equipment cleaning and housekeeping. Escalates non-routine situations (e.g., deviations, equipment alarms) per site procedure. Uses electronic systems to perform work (e.g., DMS, LIMS, Trackwise). Reviews executed batch records and logbooks in an accurate and timely manner. Suggests and participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Assignee to Trackwise records (e.g., CAPAs). Performs other duties as assigned by lead/manager. Gains understanding of critical process and operational parameters. Raises and follows through work notifications; initiates, executes and follows through with change requests. Provides coaching and mentoring to junior team members. Inputs into investigations of complex technical problems and compliance failures. Performs process and equipment troubleshooting. May take on Lab-in-charge responsibilities. What We're Looking For Degree or equivalent experience in a related Science/Engineering field. Technical knowledge of Biopharmaceutical processing is mandatory. Relevant work experience in a similar manufacturing industry or cleanroom environment preferred. Strong knowledge of cGMP applications. Positive team-oriented demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to perform a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
