This role supports employees across various business units in ASEAN, reporting to the Senior Manager, Employee Services, KIA. The role includes a variety of HR (Business Partnering) activities, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, talent management, recruiting, leadership development, and coaching.
Essential Functions in ASEAN:
Participates in development, implementation and support of global HR programs and initiatives such as WorkDay integration.
Provides employee relations support to managers and employees.
Provides recruitment and selection assistance for assigned groups and works with business leaders and hiring managers to develop creative, cost-effective recruitment strategies.
Assists with development and implementation of training for managers and employee groups.
Is primary point of contact for assigned groups with regard to HR policy, process and support.
Works on special Human Resources projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be effective at all organizational levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with equal ease.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team–oriented environment.
Flexible, supportive and adaptive to changes.
Working knowledge of Employment Law, especially for ASEAN
Focus on customer service and ability to maintain confidentiality are high priorities.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Minimum education and work experience required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field is required.
7+ years of progressive HR Generalist or business partnering experience in a fast paced, dynamic, high growth environment; preferably in the high-tech industry
Working knowledge of Workday is a plus.
