We are seeking an IFRS Reporting Manager to join our Accounting and Treasury team in Singapore. This role will be pivotal in managing the Group’s IFRS accounting manuals and ensuring compliance with all relevant reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and update the Group’s IFRS Accounting Manuals
Prepare detailed accounting memos on technical accounting matters
Research and provide solutions to technical accounting matters
Serve as the Group’s go-to resource for technical accounting expertise
Ensuring compliance with listing and filing requirements
Support financial reporting and consolidation processes for statutory and regulatory purposes, including quarterly and annual reports
Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior management
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
Preferably experienced in the shipping or transport-related industries
Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
Prior exposure to SOX or equivalent controls in a listed company environment
Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Strong technical accounting and auditing expertise, ideally with experience in IFRS
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Preparing and presenting complex accounting information to management team
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
