Overview
Group Reporting Manager (IFRS | Maritime)
We are partnering with a multinational group to appoint a Group Reporting Manager (IFRS) in Singapore. This position sits at the heart of the finance function, combining technical accounting leadership with hands on group reporting.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the group’s financial reporting framework, ensuring policies and practices remain aligned with IFRS.
Provide expert guidance on complex accounting treatments, drafting clear papers for management and auditors.
Oversee consolidated reporting across multiple business units, producing timely financial results for senior leadership and regulators.
Monitor developments in accounting standards and translate these into practical application for the business.
Support ad-hoc projects where financial structuring or reporting considerations play a key role.
Strengthen reporting controls and governance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar) with minimum 5 years solid post-qualification experience.
Strong grounding in IFRS, either from professional practice or a technical accounting/financial reporting role in industry.
Previous involvement in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting.
Sector exposure in asset-heavy or global businesses.
A mix of detail orientation and clear communication skills.
Self motivated, organised, and capable of managing tight reporting deadlines.
Singapore citizens or PR only.
