Development of digital back-end EDA design tool flows and user/project support. Responsibilities Manage the requirements of full digital CAD RTL-to-Silicon CAD tool flow in Credo products. Implement best-in-class CAD digital design and physical implementation flows. Work directly with project teams to actively resolve and fix issues. Develop internal scripts/flows to improve design quality and consistent implementation via the best-known methodology. Enable meaningful design audit and progress/resource tracking. Coordinate tool usage and training for designers. Actively participate in CAD infrastructure planning with IT to improve productivity. Support tool bugs and issues, working closely with world-wide design teams and EDA vendor. Qualification B.S. or M.S. in electrical/computer engineering or related engineering disciplines. 10+ years’ work experience. Relevant work experience in industry commensurate to the title. Expert level skills in back-end flows in Synopsys or Cadence tools, preferably both. Excellent technical understanding of digital design and mid-end flows. Experience in digital implementation flows in advanced CMOS nodes below 16 nm. Good understanding of physical synthesis, ECO flows, DFT, and physical verification. Expert level skills in Linux, Python, Tcl, and EDA flow development best practices. Competency in full turn-key flow from RTL-to-Silicon tape-out is highly desirable. High-level communication and organizational/execution skills to effectively drive CAD projects and priorities with Credo design teams and design tool vendors. Requires technical working-level English communication skills.
