Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hand on CAD Engineer to join our team in Singapore. Reporting to the Group CAD Technical Manager, you will play a key role in producing high-quality technical drawings and layouts that support our global Sales and Projects teams. Your expertise in AutoCAD and understanding of electronic security systems will be essential in delivering accurate and timely design documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
  • Review original drawings, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation from the case received in (CDM) NetSuite.
  • Prepare dimensional and installation drawings for electronic security systems and solutions.
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes based on input from Sales and Projects teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including design notes, calculations, BOMs, and performance parameters.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for the planning and design of equipment installations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of drawings in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to clarify requirements before initiating design work.
Who You Are
  • You bring 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a CAD engineering role, ideally within a technical or security systems environment.
  • You have strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks as an added advantage.
  • You're self-driven, take ownership of your work, and thrive in delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
  • Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills help you navigate complex design challenges with confidence.
  • You're known for your attention to detail, structured approach, and ability to stay organized under pressure.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in spoken and written English, and you're comfortable collaborating across teams.
  • You work well both independently and as part of a team, adapting to different working styles and project needs.

Qualifications:

  • Engineer with relevant Certification in AutoCAD or Diploma holder with adequate ACAD experience in relevant software applications.
