Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Professional

We seek a highly qualified Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to ensure highest standards of health, safety and environment practices on construction sites.

Job Dimension (Scope)

  • Develop Comprehensive HSE Policies: Implement and maintain policies, procedures and programs to ensure safe working environment on construction sites.
  • Enforce Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with relevant health, safety and environment regulations and standards.
  • Conduct Regular Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate and report on incidents, accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
  • Provide Training: Provide training and guidance to site personnel on HSE best practices, emergency response procedures and safety awareness.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project leaders and other stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Promote Safety Culture: Promote a culture of safety and environment stewardship across all project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registered WSHO: Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in managing safety on construction sites.
  • HSE Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage and influence all levels of personnel.
  • Investigation Skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development in the field of HSE.
