Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environment practices on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, procedures and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant health, safety and environment regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, accidents and near-misses.
  • Provide training and guidance on HSE best practices, emergency response procedures and safety awareness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Prepare and present regular HSE performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
  • Possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in managing safety on construction sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough investigations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
