Job Summary The Head of the MSc Programmes Office will work closely with the Deanery, Heads of Department, Academic Directors, and faculty on the leadership and management of our suite of Masters programmes. As the key programme administrator and advocate for the graduate programmes and students, the Head will be responsible for: Formulating and implementing strategic initiatives for the suite of Masters of Science programmes Leading a high‑performing executive and administrative team Developing an empowering culture of responsibility, independence, and inclusiveness in the MSc Office team Creating a vibrant student community and providing an enriching out‑of‑classroom experience for postgraduate students Providing overall leadership to the administration of the unit Planning and Strategizing Leading the team in meeting admission intake targets for the Masters programmes Positioning and branding the programmes to enhance reputation as the choice university for postgraduate education Identifying key sectors, markets, and audiences and developing focused marketing and recruitment strategies Systematically analysing recruitment, admission, and retention information and adapting strategies as necessary Establishing short and long‑range organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures Leadership and Administration Working closely with Academic Directors on curriculum‑related matters Overseeing financial management, budgeting, and business planning of the unit Ensuring operational efficiency through systems and processes, synergies, and best practices Setting key directives and guidelines for administrative operations and processes People Management and Development Coaching and mentoring staff to meet strategic outcomes Supporting learning and development, career advancement, and succession planning Encouraging collaboration with other departments within NUS Business School Qualifications Degree from a recognized university; Master’s degree preferred 10–15 years of experience overseeing graduate programmes in higher education, with a proven track record in admission targets Extensive management and leadership experience Strategic thinking and decision‑making skills Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders Excellent communication skills More Information Location: Kent Ridge CampusOrganization: School of BusinessDepartment: Dean’s Office (BIZ) #J-18808-Ljbffr
