We are looking for a Senior Cloudera Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise-grade Cloudera Data Platform (CDP/CDH) environments. The role requires hands‐on expertise in cluster management, performance tuning, security configuration, and cloud integration to ensure high availability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Cloudera clusters (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper). Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, upgrades, and patching. Implement and manage Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry, ACLs, and encryption zones for platform security. Monitor and troubleshoot cluster health using Cloudera Manager, Geneos, or CloudWatch. Automate administrative tasks with Shell/Python scripting and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with data engineering, DevOps, and cloud teams to support data platform scalability and reliability. Required Skills Proven experience with Cloudera CDP/CDH administration in production environments. Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Kerberos, Ranger, and HDFS architecture. Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud integration and monitoring tools. Scripting expertise in Bash/Python; experience with Jenkins/Git preferred.
