Assistant Director of Sales (Rooms/Catering) We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong background in hospitality sales specifically in rooms and catering . Responsibilities Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize hotel revenue from rooms and catering segments. Identify new business opportunities in both local and national markets, with a focus on corporate and event clientele. Maintain strong relationships with key clients, event planners to ensure repeat business and brand loyalty. Collaborate closely with the Catering and Events team to deliver seamless service and exceed guest expectations. Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to guide strategy. Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve their individual and departmental goals. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of progressive hotel sales experience, with a strong focus on rooms and catering. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and presentation abilities. Proficiency in CRM and hotel sales systems.
