Title:Analyst, Accounting (Permanent Position)
Report to:Senior Manager, Accounting
Location: Singapore
Focus: Retail Accounting, Lease Accounting and Fixed Assets
Primary Purpose:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team and support the expanding operations acrossSoutheast Asia (SEA)andAustralia–New Zealand (ANZ). This role presents a valuable opportunity for professional growth while contributing to core accounting functions in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute Accounting and Controlling related tasks, with a focus on
Retail Accounting, Lease Accounting and Fixed Assets .
Review lease contracts, calculation of lease liabilities and right-of-use assets to ensure compliance.
Performmonthly closing activities, ensuring completeness and timelines.
Prepare and reviewBalance Sheet Schedulesandaccount reconciliationsusingBlackline.
Manual annual statutory audit process with auditors.
Participate inprocess improvement initiativesand cross-functional projects.
Ensure compliance withSOX controlsand internal company policies.
Qualifications & Competencies
We're looking for a candidate who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the role:
Education & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree inAccountingorFinance.
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in a multinational company orBig 4 accounting firm.
Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Office, particularlyExcel,Word, andPowerPoint.
Experience withSAP, along with a solid understanding ofUS GAAP and ASC 842 Lease Accounting.
Skilled in developing professional PowerPoint presentationis an advantage.
Familiarity with US GAAP Lease Accounting or SEA/ANZ region Indirect Tax regulationsis a plus.
