Job Description:
This role involves transforming and renovating spaces across various sectors, including homes, offices, shops, and more. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, providing expert advice on space planning, materials, color schemes, and furnishings.
You will be responsible for developing design concepts that align with the client's vision, creating detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software, and selecting materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes that meet project requirements.
Additionally, you will coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution, prepare project timelines, and oversee the installation of design elements, ensuring that the design is executed as per the plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar
Strong creative vision and attention to detail
Excellent communication and project management skills
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices
