Description We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Package Engineer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the technical aspects of marine and mooring projects — ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery within schedule and budget. Responsibilities - Plan, schedule, and manage the engineering and logistics elements of assigned projects. - Ensure all work complies with company policies, HSSEQ standards, and QA procedures. - Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives. - Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution. - Lead constructability reviews, risk assessments (HIRA/HAZID), and technical discussions. - Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including:- Installation and towing procedures - Lift plans and conceptual designs for installation aids - Sea fastening and other marine operation plans - Supervise offshore and mobilization activities such as load-outs and quayside operations. - Provide technical leadership during client and contractor meetings. - Contribute to tendering activities, peer reviews, and training of junior engineers. - Support project close-out and lessons-learned reviews. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (accredited by a recognized engineering body). - Minimum 7–8 years of project engineering experience in subsea construction, renewable energy, or decommissioning, including offshore exposure. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with MS Project and AutoCAD preferred. - Familiarity with tools such as GMOOR, Strand7, ANSYS, AQWA, Optimoor, Inventor, or Orcaflex is advantageous. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. - Collaborative mindset with strong communication and leadership skills.
