ROLE PURPOSE

The Construction Manager is responsible for delivering the Construction/Completion scope of work in compliance with HSSE, Quality, and schedule requirements as defined in the construction execution plan. You provide the necessary construction expertise to support the Project Construction Manager in making key strategic decisions.

ROLE CONTRIBUTION

  • Creating a safe work environment on site: Provide leadership to ensure the HSSE plan is understood and implemented by all site personnel. Effectiveness is measured by meeting group and project HSSE targets.
  • Meeting quality requirements: Lead the site Quality verification team to ensure the Quality Plan is understood and implemented. Effectiveness is measured by meeting targets and no violations of the Group Quality Golden Rules.
  • Managing construction delivery: Ensure execution complies with the contract, liaise with stakeholders for resource mobilization, and escalate issues as necessary. Success is measured by achieving milestones, safety, and quality objectives.
  • Supporting project management decisions: Ensure accurate and timely reporting, review engineering and procurement changes, and support during commercial meetings. Effectiveness is measured by resolving schedule risks and accurate reporting.
