Overview Ecosystem Development, Manager/Snr. Manager, Data Governance, Govt Data Division – Ministry of Digital Development and Information. Role description notes involvement in Smart Nation Group – Digital Government (SNDG) within PMO and MDDI, planning and prioritizing Smart Nation and digital government projects, raising standards for Government ICT and services, building long-term public sector capabilities, and promoting adoption of digital and smart innovations. The Government Data Division (GDD) within SNDG leads whole-of-government data policies to guide strategic data management, sharing, and utilisation as a national asset, and to strengthen governance and capabilities across the public sector. What You Will Be Working On We are looking for someone with experience in policy and ecosystem development, with a good grasp of data management, governance and related domain knowledge. You will be part of a team refreshing strategies, spearheading policies to develop the ecosystem, and driving the implementation of high-impact initiatives to advance public sector data governance outcomes. Key initiatives include: Refresh WOG data governance structures and accountability frameworks, to ensure role clarity and governance levers across the ecosystem Design and strengthen system-level incentives and enablers to catalyse good data governance outcomes Establish and lead the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Data Governance, to drive thought leadership, set standards, and provide expert advisory and resources across the public sector Design and scale standardised tools for critical processes for WOG adoption, to enable effective and efficient implementation of data governance This role offers a unique opportunity to work with stakeholders to shape ecosystem development policies at a systems level and drive their implementation across the public sector.
