Process Engineering Lead

In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the development and maintenance of process engineering teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing processes, evaluating new materials, and qualifying new equipment.
  • Managing performance metrics for the team.
  • Supporting manufacturing line troubleshooting and sustaining existing equipment and materials.
  • Identifying process issues, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Maintaining current process documentation and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce yield loss, improve productivity, and decrease scrap costs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and workflow.
  • Supporting the industrialization of process and equipment improvement projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Electronics, Materials Science, or Physics.
  • At least 8 years of experience in process development and engineering sustainment in electronics manufacturing or semiconductor assembly process industry.
  • Proven experience leading a small process engineering team.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical tools such as SPC, Minitab, DOE, FMEA, and JMP.
  • Knowledge of ISO and EHS management systems.
  • Leadership skills, analytical thinking, independence, and multitasking abilities.
