Trade Compliance Analyst

The role of the Trade Compliance Analyst is to support the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Department by ensuring effective trade monitoring, market surveillance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This includes identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with trading activities, as well as maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily trade and market surveillance to detect irregularities, potential market abuse, or breaches of trading rules.
  • Support investigations into suspicious trading activities and escalate issues where required.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to MAS regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update trade surveillance systems, controls, and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in trading compliance or derivatives trading surveillance is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and exchange trading rules.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex trading data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
