Senior Compliance Consultant
with a strong background in investment compliance area. This position is based in Singapore.
Position Overview
As a Senior Compliance Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing compliance rules related to investment activities. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that compliance protocols are effectively translated and adhered to within the investment management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Investment & Regulatory Compliance : Understand and apply investment compliance regulations effectively.
Rule Coding & Testing : Hands-on experience with coding compliance rules and performing rigorous testing to ensure accuracy.
Translation of Compliance Rules : Simplify complex compliance mandates into plain English for better understanding across teams.
Implementation of Compliance Rules : Lead the transition of compliance rules from one platform to another, ensuring seamless implementation.
Project Management : Prior experience in project management or business analysis is preferred.
SQL Proficiency : Understanding of SQL with the ability to write queries to support compliance activities (preferred).
Fast-Paced Environment : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Stakeholder Management : Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders and liaising with vendors.
Pre and Post Trade Compliance : Understand implications of pre-trade and post-trade compliance and monitor rule types, generating necessary reports.
Review & Reconciliation : Review and reconcile pre and post-trade rules set up in the system against governing documents.
Preferred Skills
Compliance Rule Coding : Strong expertise in coding compliance rules.
Understanding of Investment Management Platform : Familiarity with the Aladdin or Bloomberg platforms
Data and Automation Tools : Knowledge of tools such as PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, or SharePoint.
Programming Languages : Familiarity with SQL, Python, and/or VBA.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management : Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and stakeholder expectations.
