The WiFi Tier 3 Engineer plays a hybrid role within the Managed WiFi team, supporting both Day 1 provisioning activities and ongoing WiFi engineering operations. This role is responsible for configuring and activating customer WiFi services, performing detailed diagnostics, and assisting in maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing centralized WiFi platform. The engineer will work closely with delivery teams during service onboarding and provide technical support to the WiFi Engineering team for escalations, platform optimization, and process improvement.
Perform end-to-end configuration and provisioning of WiFi infrastructure components including access points, wireless controllers, SSIDs, VLANs, and policy enforcement rules via centralized platforms
Integrate WiFi services with enterprise systems such as RADIUS, DHCP, DNS, and authentication gateways.
Execute technical onboarding procedures, including zero-touch provisioning (ZTP), AP registration, firmware validation, and template-based configuration deployment.
Conduct pre-deployment readiness checks, post-deployment verification (connectivity, roaming, signal quality), and validate compliance with design specifications.
Document configurations, implementation steps, and test results to support knowledge
