Job Overview
As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of youths residing in an institutional facility.
The position involves working night shifts, overseeing residents' welfare and safety, as well as maintaining high standards of discipline and regimentation.
- Manage the daily routines of residents, ensuring their security and well-being at all times.
- Provide support during emergencies and conduct regular body and property checks to maintain a secure environment.
- Deliver trauma-informed practices in daily interactions, promoting a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Oversee resident welfare, discipline, and maintenance of high standards of regimentation.
- Offer assistance during emergency situations.
- Implement trauma-informed practices in daily interactions, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Maintain the safety and security of the premises at all times.
- Provide care and support for residents' daily living needs.
- Develop strong relationships with residents through empathy and understanding.
- Participate in taskforces to assist and execute tasks as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of O Level qualification.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
