The Role To create customer satisfaction by providing high standards of food quality and presentation according to hotel procedures. Responsibilities Prepare various pastries, desserts, and baked goods following standardized recipes, ensuring quality and presentation. Contribute to recipe development and stay updated on industry trends, incorporating innovative ideas into the dessert menu. Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency through regular inspections. Supervise and train the pastry team, providing guidance and support. Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure ingredient availability. Oversee pastry equipment maintenance, reporting issues and coordinating repairs. Enforce food safety and sanitation standards, promoting proper hygiene practices. Coordinate with other kitchen departments for smooth operations and communicate effectively with the culinary team. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address customer inquiries and recommend pastry items. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines. Stay informed about industry techniques, ingredients, and trends through continuous learning. Maintain high personal hygiene, dress, and professional appearance at all times. Talent Profile 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent. Strong team player with a passion for Pastry.
