Job Title: Waste Sorter
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Waste Sorter to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting waste at our facility, ensuring that recyclable materials are deposited on conveyor belts as directed. They will also be required to maintain safety measures during waste sorting operations, handle tools and equipment, and report any equipment faults or operational abnormalities to the supervisor.
Additional responsibilities include responding to incidents and emergencies as directed, managing incidents, and replenishing tools and equipment in a timely manner.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit and attentive, and have the ability to stand for long periods of time while performing their primary role.
They will also require the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
