Piping Technical Supervisor Job Opportunity

As a Piping Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring that all piping testing and reinstatement works are carried out according to project specifications and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and ensure all piping testing and reinstatement works are carried out according to project specifications and schedules.
  • Perform activities related to pipe hydro testing, estimate material take-off, etc.
  • Prepare pre-job briefing and tool box talks to the workforce prior to starting work activities.
  • Promote job safety and environmental awareness to workers and other persons at the site.
  • Supervise all piping works and ensure safety and quality standards are met according to project requirements.
  • Perform inspection and approval of all QA/QC submittals to clients.
  • Perform surveillance and inspection of piping systems to ensure tightness of piping systems during testing.
  • Manage completion of all required deliverables for test pack completion, including isometrics red-line markups, piping plans, and tie-in lists.
  • Enforce safe work practices at the job site and monitor workers to ensure they work safely.
  • Attend Project Safety Coordination Committee meetings and perform joint daily inspections, weekly management inspections, and client audits.
  • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping at all times for the shops and erection sites.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years' field experience in piping works, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry. You should also possess good knowledge of piping works and be able to read P&IDs and piping shop drawings.
