Piping Stress Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing piping stress engineering related activities, providing effective stress solutions, and coordinating with project stakeholders. They will also ensure that all assigned work is completed on time and meets the intended quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing stress analysis using CAESAR II for various load cases
  • Preparing stress critical line lists as per the critical line selection criteria
  • Selecting springs and generating data sheets
  • Reviewing and providing technical inputs on critical pipe support design and/or pipe stress related technical matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience working in an engineering setup for upstream oil & gas projects (Offshore & FPSO projects) as a Piping Stress Engineer
  • Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to present technical issues to design teams, client technical authorities, and approving bodies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization
  • Familiarity with using Navisworks
