Director, Regional Operations Lead

At Pfizer, you will be involved in fostering evidence-based medical decision support to contribute to better health and treatment outcomes. Your efforts will align with scientific rigor and clinical necessity, facilitating improved health outcomes and supporting the informed and effective use of medical treatments.In this role, you will partner with the Head of Regional Site Operations and Directors of Clinical Site Operations (DCSOs) in assigned regions. As a member of the regional leadership team, you will shape and help drive regional strategies to contribute to global clinical development goals. Your responsibilities will include cross-functional collaboration, overseeing resource planning and allocation, driving quality and compliance metrics, analyzing regional trends, leading regional communities of practice, providing quality oversight to clinical trials, and building relationships within the organization to achieve divisional goals. Additionally, you will independently initiate and manage projects, utilizing the knowledge of others and making sound judgments in decision-making processes.Minimum Requirements:- BA/BS/MS/MSc or equivalent with at least 10 years of clinical trial operations experience- Extensive understanding of site operations process, GCP, study management, and regulatory operations- Strong leadership and management skills- Proven track record of successful project management- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Flexibility and adaptability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a matrix environment- Effective stakeholder management and influence within matrix environments- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Requirements:- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a related discipline- In-depth experience in pharmaceutical or clinical trial settings working in a global pharmaceutical company- Demonstrated people management experience- Demonstrated ability to exhibit adaptive risk management capabilities- Proficient in strategic leadership- Ability to drive innovative solutions and enhance organizational efficiency- Advanced problem-solving abilities and dedication to achieving new milestones- Outstanding leadership and mentoring abilities- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic business environments- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards across countriesWork Location Assignment: RemotePfizer offers various benefits for its colleagues including paid parental leave, access to health & wellness apps, career growth experiences program, recognition & rewards program, paid volunteer days, life insurance benefits, access to Pfizer Learning Academy, flu vaccines & skin checks, options to purchase additional leave, and salary packaging & novated lease options.
