Job Title: Export Operations Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Export Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in airfreight operations and be able to provide operational support and process export documentation accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Process export documentation accurately and timely for customers, ensuring all requirements are met and shipments depart on schedule.
  • Ensure all documentations (billing invoices, reports, AWBs, etc.) are complete, properly indicated, and accompany shipments.
  • Check that all shipments checklists are completed, scanned, filed, and attached with the shipments as per IATA rules and regulations.
  • Meet Pharmaceutical & Healthcare requirements as per GDP/GDPMDS regulations and directives.
  • Complete DAYEND closing report at end of the day.
  • Review shipment events data and shipment manifests to meet Operational Performance Audit objective.
  • Coordinate with Airlines terminal and warehouse vendor staff for any shipment dispute or discrepancy.
  • Communicate with customer service team on issues related to rates, destination, and shipping instruction errors.
  • Provide 24-hour service, including after office hours, holidays, and weekends, for Urgent/Aircraft on Ground (AOG) shipments arrangements.

  • Good organizational skills and a good team player.
  • Committed to the job and work assignments given.
  • Computer literate and able to handle Microsoft email, Excel, and Word applications.
  • Good organization skills with an eye for details.
  • Possess initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will work 5 days a week with 1 off day and 1 rest day within a calendar week. Shift Schedule may vary as follows:

Roster pm - 4.00am (1-hour lunch break) for 4 days

06.30pm - 3.30am (1-hour lunch break) for 1 day

Roster pm am (1-hour dinner break) for 4 days

08.30pm am (1-hour dinner break) for 1 day
