Financial Controller Key responsibilities Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy in project costing and financial reporting. Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, review financial performance, and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. Manage the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as other reports for management and regulatory bodies. Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and implement strong internal controls. Implement and monitor cost-saving measures and manage project-related financial activities, including cost allocation and progress billing. Potentially manage and lead a finance team, providing guidance and support, and overseeing their work. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA or ACCA are often preferred. Typically requires 8-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with specific experience in the construction or engineering industry and project accounting being highly advantageous. Proficiency in financial management software, QuickBooks and ERP systems, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills to effectively work with various stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
