Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to maintain our office environment. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness of the workspace, preparing refreshments, and performing other related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
- Dust and wipe all surfaces, desks, tables/chairs, and office furniture.
- Clean pantry equipment, windows, and doors.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as desks, meeting rooms, pantry, and corridors.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Tea & Pantry Duties:
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments to management and visitors.
- Ensure the pantry area is clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Wash dishes and utensils after use.
- Monitor and report pantry inventory needs to the Facilities Manager.
- Perform any ad-hoc cleaning duties assigned by the Facilities Manager.
- Other Duties:
- Maintain a neat and tidy appearance and behave professionally.
- Clean Co-Office units.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Pleasant and professional demeanor with good personal hygiene.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks.
