Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms.

  • Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hotel staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Enter status of rooms cleaned on a daily basis.
  2. Complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area.
  3. Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room.
  4. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by Housekeeper.
  5. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
