Job Summary: The Application Engineer provides assistance to customers in the usage of our CAE solutions, while leveraging knowledge, experience and relationships to assist in growing our business across ASEAN. Key Responsibilities: Undertake or assist the team in sales-related activities. Exercise initiative in setting and executing strategic business & action plans or projects. Contribute to the business as a recognized technical expert in your particular discipline(s). Exercise initiative in setting policies and plans within your discipline(s) based on predetermined strategic business goals. Initiate and drive technical activities in line with the business goals such as: Leverage on advanced-level engineering knowledge to analyze technical needs Solve complex engineering problems Provide technical support for both academic and commercial customers Perform engineering simulation consulting services Customize and conduct ANSYS software training Provide technical support in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in solving industrial problems and advanced coupled fields Create and demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows, in support of the software sales process Provide technical assistance to sales team through technical presentations, product demonstrations and software evaluation Qualifications: You possess a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering. You possess relavant working experience and qualifications in a related role. You have a strong understanding and ability to apply Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in solving industrial problems. You possess experience with one or more CFD or related software package (e.g. ANSYS/CFX/Fluent/Polyflow/StarCCM+/OpenFoam). You are result-oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and independent. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to create engineering solutions to customer problems. You are fluent in both written and spoken English. What would you get?
