Delivery Consultant

Overview A Delivery Consultant (DC) in ProServe is a technical expert who works directly with customers to implement and manage cloud solutions that align with business objectives. This role combines deep technical knowledge of AWS services with strong consulting skills to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. A Delivery Consultant works closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and how those objectives can be met through their cloud journey. Delivery Consultants are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions, providing technical guidance and best practices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful project delivery. Delivery Consultants collaborate cross-functionally and leverage their expertise in cloud technologies to drive customer success. Delivery Consultants have a deep understanding of AWS products and services, including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies. They are proficient in delivering complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. They work with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. They lead the implementation process, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks throughout the project. They are trusted advisors, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address customer challenges. They share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creation of reusable artifacts and process improvements. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage AWS solutions aligned with customer objectives. Provide technical guidance and best practices; troubleshoot issues; ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate cross-functionally; leverage cloud expertise to drive customer success. Lead the implementation process; adhere to best practices; optimize performance; manage risks. Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable artifacts and process improvements. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience Cloud Application Migration and Modernisation experience Strong full-stack application development experience with 1 or more of the following programming languages: Java/Spring/Boot, Angular/ReactJS, Golang, .NET Experience with streaming, event-driven platforms (Kafka, Kinesis) and knowledge of REST/JSON, GraphQL Preferred Qualifications AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Terraform)AWS experience in Containers (EKS or ECS), Microservices Experience with streaming, event-driven platforms (Kafka, Kinesis) and knowledge of REST/JSON, GraphQL AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
