Freight Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods from origin to destination.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the logistics and shipping operations for both inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including airway bills, bills of lading, and other required import/export paperwork
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth transportation from origin to destination, updating clients and stakeholders as needed
  • Inspect cargo in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, handling, and compliance with safety regulations
  • Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking, cargo details, and other logistics documentation
  • Support permit declarations and ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any operational issues or delays

Requirements:

  • Ocean Freight experience
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding and shipping processes
  • Data entry skills
  • Air Freight experience
  • Compliance knowledge
