Overview

Responsibilities
System Administration: Demonstrate strong administration skills in CentOS/Ubuntu/Red Hat within an enterprise environment. Proactively maintain and administer project-specific Linux and Windows infrastructure in a high availability setup.
System Upgrades and Patching: Manage, coordinate, and implement system software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on Linux and Windows platforms.
Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency, with a focus on Unix scripting.
AWS Management: Design, build, and manage web, app, and database environments on AWS, including EC2, ALB, Redis, RDS (MySQL), EBS, S3, SNS, Secret Manager, ACM, and IAM.
Security Product Management: Manage security products such as Fortify (SAST), MetaDefender (malicious file scanning), CyberArk (Privileged Access Management), and OKTA (Identity and Access Management).
System, Application, and Security Monitoring: Use AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk for monitoring; maintain Linux security settings and perform security log reviews with in-house SIEM in collaboration with the managed SOC provider to manage security incidents.
DevOps & CI/CD Support: Collaborate with the in-house development team, providing DevOps support including building, testing, and deploying software; manage the BitBucket code repository and Bamboo CI/CD pipeline.
Spring Cloud Framework: Exposure to Spring Cloud components such as Zuul Server API Gateway, Eureka for service discovery, Elastic Redis Cache, and RabbitMQ Cluster.
Containerisation: Exposure to Docker, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, and serverless compute systems (Fargate).
Qualifications & Skills
Strong experience in system administration across Linux and Windows in enterprise environments.
Proven ability to manage system upgrades, patches, and hot fixes.
Proficiency in Unix scripting and automation.
Hands-on AWS design, build, and management experience with relevant services.
Experience with security product tools and IAM/identity management.
Experience with monitoring tools and SIEM collaboration.
DevOps collaboration and CI/CD experience with BitBucket and Bamboo.
Familiarity with Spring Cloud and containerisation technologies.
