We are seeking a highly effective
Senior Specialist
to join our Industry Partnership Group within our department dedicated to employment and employability
In this role, you will support NTUC’s sub-department as part of a dynamic team focused on impacting the employment and employability of the workforce. Your focus will be on specific industries to forge strong partnerships and co-create employability solutions with stakeholders such as employers, government agencies, and training, industry, and community partners.
Job Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement and Business Development
Outreach to companies to promote the adoption of our employment and employability programmes and collaborate on job redesign projects to raise productivity, improve jobs, skills, and wages for our local workforce.
Work with industry stakeholders, including government agencies, associations, and training partners, to co-create interventions addressing manpower issues.
Strategic Manpower Planning
Analyze market trends to identify and assess key industry manpower and skills needs.
Monitor programme progress and evaluation outcomes, providing recommendations for management decisions.
Identify and implement relevant hiring and training initiatives for businesses.
Project and Events Management
Plan and review budget requirements, ensuring compliance with policies and processes.
Organize outreach, marketing, career events, and industry engagement activities.
Assist retrenched employees with job search guidance and access to relevant training programs.
Job Requirements
Passionate about helping Singaporeans enhance their employability and supporting organizations in productivity and capability development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team orientation.
Strong project and time management skills.
Adept at stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
Resilient, agile in problem-solving, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of government initiatives on manpower interventions in relevant industries is advantageous.
Experience in business development, project management, or program development is advantageous.
Designation and salary will be commensurate with experience.
