Overview
We are looking for a
Community Operations Specialist
to grow and manage our global player community across platforms such as Discord, Reddit, and YouTube. You will play a central role in ensuring the community is active, engaging, and well-connected to the game. This position requires someone who is passionate about gaming, skilled in building relationships, and able to bridge communication between players and the studio.
Responsibilities
Manage and expand our community across key platforms (Discord, Reddit, YouTube, etc.), ensuring it remains vibrant, engaging, and inclusive.
Monitor player discussions, capture and organize feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to translate insights into actionable improvements.
Keep players informed on updates and changes, ensuring they feel heard and valued as part of the community.
Build and maintain strong relationships with core players, encouraging meaningful contributions and fostering high-quality discussions.
Stay updated on the game's mechanics, updates, and strategies to effectively connect player needs with development direction.
Act as a trusted bridge between the player community and the studio, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent communication.
Requirements
Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with global players.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese will be an advantage for engaging with regional players and stakeholders, though not required.
Familiarity with overseas community platforms (Discord, Reddit, YouTube) is essential. Active participation in gaming communities will be a strong plus.
Passionate gamer, with prior experience in strategy/SLG games, is considered an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Quick learner with a proactive mindset and sense of ownership.
Patient and professional, with strong stress resilience. Able to handle diverse player demands while balancing internal priorities.
Diploma or Degree in any discipline preferred. Prior experience in community management, player support, or related roles will be an added advantage.
Fresh graduates who are active gamers and community participants are encouraged to apply.
