tatothoughts is a fast-growing food startup founded by SMU undergraduates, bringing Singapore a new take on the UK's jacket potatoes-customisable, hearty, and packed with Asian-inspired flavours. We operate a grab-and-go retail model, focusing on convenience, quality, and sustainability for students and young professionals. As we open our first physical outlet, we're looking for energetic kitchen crew to join our team.As a Kitchen Crew, you will play a key role in preparing and assembling our signature dishes, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficient service. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position ideal for those who enjoy working with food and being part of a close-knit team.Key responsibilities:- Prepare and cook ingredients according to tatothoughts' SOPs and food safety standards- Assemble orders accurately following SOPs- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations throughout the shift- Follow opening and closing checklists- Record inventory usage, notify supervisors when stock is low, place orders for inventory- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety regulations, including proper use of gloves, masks, and regular handwashing- Carry out similar duties at pop-up events, as well as basic customer interactionJob requirements:- No prior experience required; training provided on the job (prior F&B or kitchen experience is a plus)- Valid WSQ Level 1 (or above) Food Safety Course Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak period rushes- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn- Good communication skills; able to follow instructions accurately- Physically fit (able to stand for extended periods and perform basic lifting)- Flexible to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekendsWhat we offer:- Competitive monthly salary, performance bonuses- Staff meals- Staff discounts- Opportunities for career growth in a startup environment- Supportive, youthful team culture- Training in food safety, kitchen operations, customer service and moreExpected start date: 1 November 2025Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: Employee discount Food provided Education: Lower Secondary Qualification (Preferred) License/Certification: WSQ Food Safety Level 1 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
