∙Data Governance: Data Profiling, Data Quality, Metadata Management

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Integration & Migration Projects

∙Led complex data integration efforts to consolidate customer, product, and

transactional data across regions.

∙Designed high-level and low-level solution architectures, functional/technical

specifications, and batch runbooks.

∙Implemented One-Time Load (OTL) frameworks and incremental load mechanisms

for large datasets.

2. Big Data Engineering on Cloudera Hadoop

∙Set up and managed Cloudera CDP clusters with focus on Spark and Hive workload

optimization.

∙Tuned Spark jobs using Yarn and managed memory/executor configurations for

performance.

∙Automated downstream file generations using Beeline and Shell for analytics and

audit teams.

∙Handled Avro and Parquet file formats, performed data transformations in HDFS, and

enabled Hive querying.

3. Regulatory Reporting & Risk Analysis

∙Built and automated ad-hoc reports for various banking compliance regimes

including MAS, HKMA, DFSA.

∙Collaborated with cross-region stakeholders to gather requirements and translate

them into technical specifications.

∙Executed data sampling, complex computation logic, and integration testing for

regulatory data delivery.

4. ETL and Data Mart Development

∙Developed Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows to feed data marts and

analytics layers.

∙Handled historical data loading, data cleansing, and transformation for customer

profiling and segmentation.

∙Integrated scoring models and strategy rules for customer behavior and profitability

assessment.

5. Reporting & Visualization

∙Created interactive dashboards and pixel-perfect reports using SAP Business Objects (Webi,

IDT, UDT).

∙Applied complex calculations, ranking, conditional formatting for insights on customer and

product performance.

∙Migrated legacy reports to centralized BO environments and improved performance and

usability.
