As a Project Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our construction projects' cost estimates.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for tendering and cost estimation purposes, utilizing your expertise in building drawings and specifications.
  • Source and obtain quotations for various trades, conduct price comparisons, and perform thorough cost analysis to ensure transparency and fairness.
  • Identify and promptly raise any discrepancies or queries in design for clarification, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Manage tender correspondence, ensuring that all addenda and document revisions are updated accurately and efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying from an accredited institution.
  • Possess 1-3 years of relevant experience in main building construction tenders, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to read and interpret complex building drawings and specifications.
  • Display capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with digital quantity surveying tools such as CostX or Glodon is highly desirable.
