**Cost Analyst**

**Job description**:
**Role and responsibilities**:
Cost Accounting/Controlling:

- Business Partnering with different stakeholder based on OpEx cost center in-charge.
- Cost controlling and analytical perform for various Operations OpEx cost center.
- Reporting and analysis for operational variances including production order variances, purchase price variances, manufacturing variances inclusive of manufacturing Hours and Material Receipts
- Assists and participate in annual budget exercise focusing on operations.

Month end closing and reporting.
- Prepare Monthly Balance sheet Reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly reporting and forecasting per corporate requirements and provide variances explanations on Operations cost center; Manufacturing Variances, SG&A, period cost and Capex.

Year-end activities:

- Assist in the Annual cost roll up;
- Assist in the Obsolescence review for inventory.
- Assist in the Annual WIP Count.
- Support the additional Yearend reporting requirements from corporate.

Perform monthly audit of the Inventory cycle count and report the results to Operations.

Support other accounting areas and work on special projects as requested by Manager.

Maintain compliance with Company Financial Standards and US GAAP

**You are meant for this job if**:

- Bachelor's in accountancy or equivalent with at least 3-4 years of working experience, preferably in a manufacturing MNC
- Cost Accounting and Moderate Financial Reporting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
- Team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
