Software Engineer

Role Overview As a Software Developer (Backend), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions to support our applications and services. This role requires expertise in .NET development, proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, experience in both Windows and Linux environments, Azure cloud management, and familiarity with GitHub/GitLab workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our backend systems. Key Responsibilities Backend Development – Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core/.NET Framework. API Integration – Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. System Optimization – Optimize applications for performance and scalability within Windows and Linux environments. Cloud Deployment – Deploy and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. Version Control – Implement best practices for GitHub/GitLab workflows, including CI/CD pipelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure cohesive system development. Troubleshooting – Identify, debug, and optimize application performance issues to ensure efficient and reliable backend services. Security Assurance – Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of backend applications. Testing – Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions. Documentation – Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend services and APIs. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills .NET Development – At least 3 years of experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework. Development Tools – Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio and experience in both Windows and Linux environments. Cloud Services – Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and storage solutions. Version Control – Strong understanding of GitHub/GitLab workflows, version control, and CI/CD pipelines. Database Management – Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework. Messaging Systems – Familiarity with MQTT, messaging queues, or background job processing is advantageous. AI and Machine Learning – Knowledge in AI and Machine Learning is highly beneficial. Electrical Engineering – Knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering is a valuable addition. Containerization – Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus. Soft Skills Problem-Solving – Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Communication – Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Agile Methodologies – Experience working in an agile development environment. Documentation – Ability to write and maintain clear technical documentation. Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in backend development with .NET Core/.NET Framework.
