Developmental Coordinator Role

The Developmental Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Department of Child Development, supporting clinicians in identifying developmental delays in preschoolers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering developmental screening tests at triage clinics to enable early diagnosis and referrals for intervention services.
  • Conducting other screening tests such as LUCID Screen.
  • Reviewing parent and teacher questionnaires.
  • Supporting the screening of K1 and K2 children referred to the Learning and behavior track.
  • Maintaining the Clinic dashboard.
  • Collaborating with the Nursing manager on clinic process improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Arts, Social Services, Child Life, Disability and Community Rehabilitation, or a relevant field of study.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
