Job Responsibilities
Support the SGH Volunteer Management Department, under Division of Population Health and Integrated Care (PHIC).
Assist with recruitment, training, planning, coordination, and execution of volunteer management activities.
Manage volunteer inquiries via email and phone.
Support volunteer deployment, scheduling, and record keeping.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on volunteer programs.
Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing certificates for volunteer hours.
Help organize appreciation events, recruitment fairs, and campaigns.
Provide administrative support for daily operations and financial tracking.
Respond promptly to volunteer requests and troubleshoot issues.
Build and maintain effective relationships with volunteers.
Manage resources and logistics for department assets.
Conduct post-event feedback and data collation for reporting.
Maintain and update volunteer databases and records.
Assist in publicity, recruitment, training, and deployment of volunteers.
Participate in team meetings and suggest process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director/Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Diploma or equivalent in Communications, Business, Marketing, Community Engagement, Development, or Outreach, with interest in healthcare or digital marketing.
Volunteer experience is advantageous.
Ability to work independently.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Good communication skills, patience, and understanding.
Team player.
