About the Role We are seeking an experienced Licensing & Expansion Director to lead regulatory license acquisition and expansion projects across multiple markets. This strategic role involves developing and executing licensing strategies to support new market entries and new product launches within the Group’s fintech and digital asset ecosystem. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building regulatory structures from the ground up, and can manage complex, cross-border licensing initiatives end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Lead all regulatory licensing applications required for new markets and product launches across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Develop licensing roadmaps and strategies aligned with business expansion goals. Evaluate licensing options and advise on regulatory structuring to minimize operational friction and optimize speed-to-market. Coordinate with Strategy, Product, Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, and Operations teams to compile high-quality license applications. Prepare, review, and finalize business plans, policies, and documentation for submissions to regulators. Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities throughout the application and review process. Track and manage licensing project timelines, deliverables, and regulatory correspondence. Support ongoing compliance with regulatory commitments post-licensing. Contribute to playbooks, SOPs, and templates to enhance future licensing efficiency and governance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Law, Finance, or related disciplines. 8+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services, with exposure to regulatory or licensing matters. Strong understanding of financial regulatory frameworks and licensing processes across multiple jurisdictions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with regulators and internal stakeholders. Proven ability to manage complex projects independently in a global, fast-paced organization. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in regulatory licensing applications, particularly in payments, DPTs, or related financial services. Background as an admitted lawyer or senior compliance professional. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance commercial objectives and regulatory requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
