Summary:
Participate in development team in planning and coordinating with respective Stakeholders, working closely with consultants to ensure that the Hospital/entity’s operational requirements and efficiencies are in line with the Group’s overall strategic direction. The incumbent shall lead in technical coordination meetings, stakeholder review sessions as well as project alignment processes to streamline and implement processes and protocols for the timely delivery of the hospital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and track project requirements gathering in a timely manner, liaising with multiple stakeholders (consultants, employer’s agent, users, contractors, etc.) to meet the overall project timeline.
Guide users in the design and planning of the hospital, facilitating productive discussions during design, construction, and post-construction stages, including cross-coordination with medical equipment and facilities maintenance.
Ensure users’ requirements are captured and resolved, obtaining approvals during various design stages, including sign-offs for milestone documents and reports, and ensuring accurate records of discussions.
Support budgetary planning and control discussions to ensure proposed designs remain within time and budget constraints.
Work closely with project team members to administer the project in a structured and compliant manner.
Ensure that processes align with prevailing cluster and institution policies, and that documentation is robust and comprehensive.
Coordinate and share information effectively.
Stay updated on healthcare planning topics and issues to support hospital development in the desired direction.
Perform secretariat roles and responsibilities.
Undertake any other duties assigned for hospital development.
Requirements:
A degree in Architectural, Civil & Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field in the building industry.
At least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably with Project Management experience.
Candidates with a healthcare background are highly preferred.
Strong leadership qualities and strategic planning capabilities (for Manager level & above).
Good analytical and project management skills.
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and manage various stakeholders.
Excellent time management, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and ability to multitask.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
