Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Illustrator to support our marine operations. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and blueprints that guide our fabrication and repair teams, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in both repair and newbuild projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed engineering drawings for ship repair and newbuild projects.
  • Produce technical plans for various components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to verify specifications.
  • Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation library.
  • Provide clear drafting support for urgent and complex cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
  • Experience in marine or shipbuilding drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple materials (steel, aluminium, wood, fiberglass).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of technical drafting work is preferred.
