Implement best practices : Establish and enforce data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information and comply with regulatory requirements. Optimize performance : Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Overall, this role is crucial for leveraging Azure technology to transform data into valuable business assets, driving growth and efficiency. Role responsibilities Lead the design and deployment of data solutions on Microsoft Azure. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements. Ensure data architecture and pipelines align with business goals. Optimize data storage and retrieval methods for efficiency. Maintain and enhance data infrastructure for scalability. Implement best practices for data governance and security. Work with the Team to monitor and troubleshoot data systems and performance issues. Key Performance Indicators: Successful delivery of data solutions aligned with business requirements. Adherence to Agile methodologies and effective team collaboration. Stakeholder satisfaction with project outcomes and alignment with business goals. Professional growth and development of team members. Timely and high-quality project delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure data services. Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Experience with data governance and security practices. Skills: Microsoft Azure Azure Data Lake & Synapse Azure SQL Database/SQL MI/MS SQL SQL Python ETL processes Data warehousing Data architecture AI Experience Big Data technology tools- Power BI, Apache Spark, document DBs Data governance Team leadership Project management Personal Characteristics: Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data management and analytics. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Collaborative and able to inspire and motivate team members. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
