Singapore Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) Full time

The Senior Specialist/Specialist will assist the Deputy Director in leading the green and sustainability program and oversee the implementation of green projects. He/she will bring in-depth expertise in sustainability management to help build internal capabilities within HTX. He/she will also address the downstream infrastructure management and contract management in the area of sustainability in HTX and Home Team Departments (HTD).
The job-holder will assist the Deputy Director in the Building and Infrastructure (B&I) Division - Infrastructure Management, Project Development, Cost and Contract Management, and handle a mix of green projects from each of the branches. Reporting to the Deputy Directors in the respective areas, he/she is expected to provide technical support and guidance to HTX and HTDs.
Key responsibilities include:
Project development: working with users to do front-end sustainability or greening planning, and providing inputs for tender specifications for consultancy services and B&I works.
Cost and Contract Management: reviewing clauses related to sustainability scope and working on cost-benefit analysis of sustainability programs.
Infrastructure Management: overseeing sustainability for infrastructure management, creating a governance framework, and planning and implementing green development strategies.
We are looking for candidates with:
Tertiary Qualifications in Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
Between 5-8 years of relevant experience in consultancy or built environment industry.
Sound knowledge in construction related fields like contract management, project and facilities management, with good analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
Green Mark Certification or Singapore Certified Energy Manager or knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
